MEET THE MENTOR
– Jasbirsingh Bhatia is a Food Consultant and Brand Developer, his journey started in food line with his born itself as he born and brought in food business family, his father first time took him his restaurant when he was in 5th class and he instructed him to wash utensils, that was strange for him because as there was already 20 person staffs were working in the restaurant, but his father said to him to do it and he did it, he did and thats how his foundations was laid down for Restaurant Business journey, his father’s restaurant (Khalsa Restaurant) was brackfast restaurant, working time morning 5:00am to night 11:30pm letter he started expanding and develop a fine dine restaurant serving lunch and dinner, later he started fine dine non-vegetarian restaurant, he run all very successfully. He also develope vegetarian restaurant as well, so all of these journey was around 20-25 years in food business and from there he got opportunity to use his experience as a consultant for other restaurants and that too worked so well and he never looked back till date as in food journey.
– For specialties, when he was running non-vegetarian restaurant, he planned butter chicken, chicken tikka and Tandoory Chicken his dishes got popular all around many people from different part of world like USA, UK, Africa etc. mainly butter chicken was top seller in restaurant, for some reasons he made his mind to shift to pure vegetarian restaurant, so during developing the menu he got remembered his favorite dish which he tried in Amritsar, kulcha. and looking at the culture and requirement of Gujaratis, he had made around 50 types of kulchas but on that time he was scared at the same time because in Gujarat that time no existence of kulcha, it will be accepted or not was a big concern but he took the risk and that worked so well for him, till date many competitors are trying to make similar but he is growing with the love of customers and with that he added many dishes which is nowhere else in other menu cards and by God’s Blessing those all dishes are still loved by the many customers since years.
